Church Service vs. Concert

Theme: "A room full of music"

A very special fusion between a church service and a concert, in this Ascension Day weekend. In collaboration with the protestant Noorderwijk congregation.
Caroline Oosterveen, pastor of the Noorderwijk congregation:

“It’s a pleasure for us as Noorderwijk congregation to participate in the festival for the second time!

This Sunday the musicians of ICMF Ede will enrich our service with their unbelievably beautiful music. After all, music is the language of the soul… It’s able to shape the core of our existence, ‘to transcend the temporalities, to give love a score’ (Oostvogel, Ziel op de fiets).

Because of Ascension Day, the Bible reading will be from the Gospel of John: ‘There are many rooms in my Father’s house’. Words that give air to human lives, just as music does. There is room for all things that you carry with you. How do you live your life, using the score of love?

Everyone is welcome in the ‘living room’ of the Noorderkerk!”
Free entrance; no registration needed. The service will be mainly in Dutch.
